Role Overview
At JD Sports, we don’t just keep up with the game — we elevate it. As a Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the JD experience, supporting the smooth operation of the shop floor and ensuring every customer leaves feeling valued.
You’ll lead by example, supporting daily operations, guiding colleagues during each shift, and helping maintain strong service and presentation standards. With energy, organisation, and a passion for great customer service, you’ll help keep the store looking sharp, running efficiently, and aligned with the high standards JD is known for.
Hourly Rate – £12.81
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent JD service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
- Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in‑store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
- Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with JD’s brand expectations.
- Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
- Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience in fast‑paced retail or customer‑facing environments.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
- Passion for retail, strong product and trend awareness, and the ability to promote JD Group values.
- Energetic, hands‑on leader who thrives in a busy, fast‑moving store environment.
- Confident problem‑solver with strong customer‑resolution skills.
- Interest in visual merchandising and product presentation.
- Team‑focused mindset with a positive, supportive approach.
