As a Customer Team Member at the Co‑op you will support the day‑to‑day running of the store, deliver friendly service, help customers find what they need, keep shelves stocked, manage prices and stock accuracy and promote Co‑op membership.

Customer Team Member Responsibilities
  • Deliver friendly, thoughtful service to customers.
  • Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
  • Support shop floor and tills, contributing to a great shopping experience.
  • Maintain store performance: stock, prices, dates, and temperatures.
  • Ensure safety and legal compliance.
  • Promote Co‑op Membership and local community initiatives.
Customer Team Leader Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager and provide guidance to store colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and customer experience.
  • Ensure the store is safe and well‑stocked.
  • Lead by example and encourage the team to do the right thing.
Store Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Store Managers across multiple stores.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Translate company strategy into action through projects and programmes.
  • Support growth and career development of the team.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A genuine passion for customer service.
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts.
  • Interest in retail and ability to work in a busy shop environment.
  • Leadership and commercial awareness for Store Manager role.
