Position OverviewHVP seeks motivated and passionate veterinary students to join our team as Veterinary Student Representatives. This role offers hands‑on experience, expands your professional network, and lets you contribute to the veterinary community. The representative will serve as a liaison between HVP and veterinary students at their university, promote HVP’s values, services and opportunities, and provide valuable insights and feedback from the student community.
Representatives will participate in events, assist with marketing efforts, and help foster a strong relationship between the company and future veterinarians.
- Represent HVP at campus events, career fairs and student organization meetings.
- Assist in organizing and hosting informational sessions, workshops and webinars.
- Provide feedback and insights on student interests, concerns and trends to help shape company initiatives.
- Engage with students through social media and other digital platforms to raise awareness about HVP.
- Learn, share with HVP and adhere to all rules and regulations for your college of veterinary medicine regarding corporate campus presence and events.
- Identify and regularly communicate with appropriate deans, faculty, Office of Academic and Student Affairs, career counselors and student representatives to understand opportunities for HVP support and connections.
- Participate in representative meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company updates and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials on campus.
- Serve as a point of contact for students interested in learning more about HVP and opportunities.
- Currently enrolled in an AVMA‑accredited program (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for representing HVP and promoting its values.
- Previous experience in a leadership or ambassador/representative role is a plus.
- Proficient in using social media platforms for promotional purposes.
- Ability to remain in the role for one school year with the option for continuation based on mutual review at the end of the academic year.
- $1,500 Annual Stipend, paid in two installments.
