Job DescriptionStudent Activities Coordinator for DCOM will develop and implement all student activities, coordinate community outreach programs and large‑scale events, and assist in the oversight of student clubs and organizations.

Job Duties- Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large.
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, students, and community members.
- Participate on university committees.
- Act as liaison between students and student services department.
- Assist with the implementation of large‑scale events and special projects, including Orientation, College Olympics, Fall Fest, Holiday Dinners, Gala, White Coat Ceremony, Donor Memorial Service, Award and Induction Ceremonies, and Graduation.
- Schedule all major events with the PR office, building coordinators, campus security and risk management.
- Create and maintain student activities calendar.
- Implement weekly programming for students, including social activities, wellness and fitness activities, and club meetings.
- Approve student activities requests working closely with Student Services staff members and decide which student activities are appropriate.
- Submit appropriate student activities requests to LMU s event approval committee.
- Support community outreach programs.
- Recruit and supervise community volunteer opportunities for students and student groups.
- Coordinate summer camps for high school and college programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of wellness activities and initiatives, including DCOM Strong, DCOM Adventure Series, fitness programs, and intramural sports programs.
- Market and advertise events to DCOM community.
- Oversee DCOM Student Life social media accounts.
- Collaborate with public relations (PR) department to ensure correct branding and logos are used for external events and fundraising merchandise.
- Accompany students on DCOM sponsored off‑campus student trips, including DO Day on the Hill (Washington, DC), AOA conference, ski trip, and other DCOM sponsored trips.
- Collaborate with Student Services and Admissions for college assignments and orientation activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
