Client Manager

Location: Pinner

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Our client is a progressive and dynamic chartered accountancy practice based in Pinner with over 25 years of experience. Our team of 25 takes a proactive approach that drives forward our clients' financial and business interests, within a caring and confidential environment. They pride themselves on being accessible and loyal to each client's unique circumstances, with particular specialism in pharmacy, dentistry, medical, retail and construction sectors.

• Managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as their primary contact and trusted advisor.
• Preparing and reviewing accounts, including statutory accounts that have been worked up from outsourced bookkeeping.
• Reviewing management accounts and financial information prepared by the outsourced team.
• Liaising with clients to understand their businesses and providing practical advice on financial and business matters.
• Supervising and reviewing work from junior team members and outsourced staff.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and liaising with clients on tax planning matters.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Ensuring all deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest technical standards.
• Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients' business growth.

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience with substantial practice experience).
• At least 3-4 years of experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and review.
• Confident managing client relationships and dealing with queries independently.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience reviewing work from outsourced or offshore teams would be beneficial.
• CCH software experience is desirable but not essential.
