We are now seeking a motivated and highly organised Administrator to join our team and provide essential support to the operational and social work functions of the agency.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing general office and clerical support to the team
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, calls, post)
  • Coordinating panel meetings, minute taking, and document distribution
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records and filing systems
  • Assisting with data entry and updating the fostering management system
  • Supporting the recruitment and assessment process of foster carers
  • Handling DBS checks, reference requests, and training records
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining stationery/equipment
  • Supporting compliance and audits through accurate document control
  • Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with GDPR and safeguarding policies
Person Specification What We re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role (ideally in a social care, education, or healthcare setting)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and professionally
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Desirable:
  • Experience working in a fostering, social care or not-for-profit environment Familiarity with fostering panel processes or compliance
  • Knowledge of data protection and GDPR requirements
  • Experience using fostering or care management software (e.g. CHARMS, Mosaic)
