POSITION: Lecturer – Electrical Installation

PAY: Academic Pay Scale Point 23–36

CONTRACT: Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: Harrow Weald, North West London

A further education provider in Harrow Weald is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join their School of Building Services, Health & Social Care, and Art. This role is ideal for a practitioner with proven teaching experience in FE or vocational settings, who can deliver high-quality theory and practical sessions to learners pursuing electrical qualifications.

• Deliver engaging, industry-aligned teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation courses
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements
• Support learners through practical workshop sessions and theory lessons
• Monitor and report on learner progress and achievement
• Maintain industry-standard workshop practices and a safe learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the Section Manager and wider curriculum team
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
• Full-time, permanent contract based in Harrow Weald

• Proven experience as a Lecturer in Electrical Installation within FE or vocational education
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2 desirable)
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Confident delivering both practical and theory-based sessions
• Ability to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
• Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare
