Zest Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' school in Harrow.
We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1-to-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Reception with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Responsibilities- Full time role, starting ASAP until July 2026
- Provide individual support during class time, helping the pupil engage with learning tasks
- Implement and follow personalised education plans (IEP / EHCP)
- Assist with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation
- Adapt activities and learning materials to meet the pupil's needs
- Work closely with class teacher, SENCO, and other support staff
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Support routines, transitions and behaviour management strategies
- A caring and respectful community where diversity, equity and inclusion are central values
- Strong provision for Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, including ASD support
- A curriculum that supports holistic development - academic, social, moral and emotional
- Focus on Early Years Foundation Stage and engaging, play-based learning in Reception
- Collaborative staff who work together to ensure every child can succeed
