About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1-to-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Reception with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Full time role, starting ASAP until July 2026
- Provide individual support during class time, helping the pupil engage with learning tasks
- Implement and follow personalised education plans (IEP / EHCP)
- Assist with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation
- Adapt activities and learning materials to meet the pupil's needs
- Work closely with class teacher, SENCO, and other support staff
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Support routines, transitions and behaviour management strategies

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school‑based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care‑based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
