We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work in mainstream primary schools, providing individual support to a pupil with additional needs. This role focuses on targeted interventions to help the child achieve their learning and development goals.

The Role:

* Work 1:1 with a pupil to support learning, social, and emotional development

* Deliver targeted interventions as outlined by the class teacher or SENCO

* Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and engaging with learning activities

* Assist with personal care or physical needs if required

* Track progress and provide feedback to the teacher and SENCO

* Promote independence, emotional regulation, and positive engagement

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEN

* Patient, compassionate, and resilient approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Confident delivering targeted interventions and differentiated support

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
