Year 3 Teaching Assistant - Gujarati Speaking (1:1 Support)
Harrow, HA3 (commutable from Kenton, Wealdstone, Harrow & Wealdstone, Queensbury, Stanmore)
105- 115 per day
Start Date: ASAP (Trial Day Available)
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Long Term Futures is seeking a compassionate and proactive Gujarati-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil in a welcoming and inclusive Harrow primary school. This is a dedicated 1:1 role where your ability to communicate fluently in Gujarati will play a key role in helping the pupil access learning and feel confident in the classroom.

Fluency in spoken Gujarati is essential, as the child relies on first-language support to understand instructions, routines and learning expectations.

About the Role
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo, you will:
Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
Use Gujarati to aid understanding, reassurance and classroom engagement
Support the pupil in accessing the KS2 curriculum during lessons
Encourage English language development alongside curriculum learning
Promote positive learning behaviours and social interaction
Share regular feedback with staff to ensure strategies remain effective

Ideal Candidate Profile
Fluent Gujarati speaker (essential)
Experience supporting primary-aged pupils, ideally KS2
Calm, patient and confident building strong relationships
Able to support learning across English and maths
Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
