Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a long‑term position at a specialist SEN school and Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Harrow Weald, Northwest London. The role is for a SEN Science Class Teacher, with the cover needed until July 2026 and potentially extending further or leading to permanent opportunities.

This PRU serves students aged 5–16 who are unable to attend mainstream schools and supports a small cohort of 35–36 pupils. The school is rated Good by Ofsted and offers a nurturing environment to meet the diverse needs of its learners. We are seeking passionate and experienced educators to join their team.

• A qualified Science teacher with experience working in SEN or SEMH settings
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons across the ICT curriculum
• Creative, hands‑on approach to engaging and inspiring learners
• Understanding of trauma‑informed practice and supporting disengaged students

• QTS
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching SEN or SEMH students
• A valid Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Workforce registered on the Update Service
• Two recent professional references, ideally from an education setting
