SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher - Specialist SEN School - Harrow - Temp to Perm - KS5

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work full time at a welcoming and well-resourced provision supports students across KS3, KS4 and Post-16 with complex needs and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The school has a strong emphasis on preparing young people for life beyond education, focusing on independence, communication, functional skills and successful transition into adulthood.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets
• Teach students with complex needs and SLD across KS3, KS4 and/or Post-16
• Embed functional academics, life skills and preparation for adulthood into daily teaching
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and senior leaders
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
• Monitor progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs

• Specialist SEN setting with a strong community ethos
• Focus on life skills, independence and transition pathways
• Multi-disciplinary team approach
• Supportive and experienced leadership team
• Excellent facilities and tailored curriculum pathways

• Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience working with students with SLD and complex needs (desirable)
• Passionate about inclusive education
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Committed to making a genuine difference to young people's futures
