A 'Good' graded comprehensive school and sixth form in Harrow are seeking a Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT to join their department for a January 2026 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract, paid on the Inner London Scale. TLR options are available for experienced Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher looking to progress their career.

The Head of Religious Education is looking for an ambitious RE Teacher with a hard-working attitude who can contribute to the running of the RE department with their ideas and own research. The school has just under 1000 students and boasts incredible facilities, great career progression, CPD and excellent student behaviour. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects and impressive KS5 results leading on to Oxbridge placements.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• Strong Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT with good subject knowledge
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
