Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist | Harrow | September 2026

A supportive secondary school in Harrow is seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant from September 2026 until July 2027. This role is ideal for an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist looking to work with pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Autism and other SEND.

Person Specification
  • Graduate with ambitions of becoming a SaLT.
  • A minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a Russell Group University is highly desirable.
  • Strong A-Level and GCSE academic profile.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is advantageous.
  • A genuine ambition to pursue a career in SaLT or a related profession.
  • Patient, resilient and an excellent communicator with a proactive approach.
