Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking outstanding SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming specialist school in Harrow. We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals with experience supporting students with autism, communication needs, and a range of additional learning needs.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and a multidisciplinary team to support students both academically and socially. You will play a key role in helping students develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and positive relationships in a nurturing environment.

To be successful for this role you must:

Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to work in SEND learning environments.
Have knowledge and experience supporting students with autism and/or additional learning needs.
Have experience working within education, care, or support settings with children or adults.
Be committed to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Be patient, resilient, and adaptable to meet the individual needs of learners.

Job Responsibilities:

Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Encouraging students to engage with personalised learning programmes.
Promoting independence, communication, and positive behaviour.
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
Supporting students during break times, educational visits, and transitions throughout the school day.
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide the best possible outcomes for students.
