SEND Teaching Assistant | Harrow | September 2026

About the Role | SEND Teaching Assistant- Full‑time SEND Teaching Assistant position (September 2026‑July 2027)
- £460‑£530 per week PAYE (term‑time only)
- Support pupils with Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) and additional needs
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support
- Assist with adapted learning activities and classroom engagement
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Help build confidence, independence and communication skills

Candidate Profile | SEND Teaching Assistant- Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
- Degree from a top or highly regarded university is highly desirable
- Strong A Levels preferred
- Patient, reliable and committed approach to supporting children with additional needs
- Genuine passion for working in SEND settings
- Calm, resilient and adaptable under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a team‑focused attitude
- Committed to a long‑term career in education, psychology or related pathways
