Supply Desk is recruiting a motivated and caring Reception Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Harrow from September. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a welcoming school community that is committed to providing an outstanding start to every child’s educational journey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, creating a classroom where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. You will use a creative and child-centred approach to plan engaging activities that encourage exploration, independence, and confidence while supporting each pupil’s individual development.
Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and families, you will play a key role in monitoring children’s progress and ensuring they achieve their developmental milestones. The school is looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about early years education, values teamwork, and is committed to fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.

Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and record children’s progress throughout the academic year
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil development
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support colleagues across the school
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and events
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A nurturing and inclusive approach to teaching and learning
- Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
- Comprehensive safeguarding training
