32.5 hours per week term time only specific timings are negotiable

Salary scale H3, at £29,436, which is £22,377.25 pa pro rata.

The successful candidate will prepare materials, practical demonstrations, maintain laboratory equipment and facilities, and ensure a safe and well-organised learning environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in Science are essential. Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This role will play a key part in supporting both staff and students within the Science department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive person to join our Science department. It is desirable that applicants hold qualifications in Science or a related subject, together with a genuine interest in supporting practical science education. Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided. A tidy, methodical approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and students are essential.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is keen to contribute to the smooth running of a successful Science department.
