Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in the Harrow area. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication needs, and associated developmental challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN and complex needs
• Support pupils with communication, sensory, and emotional regulation needs
• Implement personalised support strategies linked to EHCP targets
• Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning resources
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Understanding of Autism, communication difficulties, and complex needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
