Aspiring SEND Teacher | Harrow | September 2026

Are you an Aspiring SEND Teacher looking to gain meaningful experience before teacher training? This Aspiring SEND Teacher opportunity is perfect for a graduate with a genuine passion for SEND.

As an Aspiring SEND Teacher, you'll support primary‑aged pupils with a range of additional needs while developing essential classroom skills.

A friendly, welcoming and inclusive two‑form entry primary school in Harrow is seeking a full‑time Aspiring SEND Teacher from September 2026 – July 2027. You'll work with pupils across EYFS and KS1/KS2, supporting children with ASC, ADD and ADHD.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEND.
  • Support children with ASC, ADD, ADHD, Speech and Language Needs and SEMH.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to improve academic progress, communication and social development.
  • Work closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and external specialists.
Person Specification
  • 2:1 or above in Education, Psychology or a related subject from a leading UK University.
  • Strong A-Level results.
  • A genuine interest in supporting primary‑aged pupils with ASC, ADD and ADHD.
  • Patient, proactive and an excellent communicator.
  • Ambition to pursue a career in teaching or SEND education.
