The successful Early Career Teacher will take responsibility for a well-supported class and benefit from guidance from experienced colleagues.

The exact year group will be matched as closely as possible to your training, experience and teaching strengths.

The Role Will Involve
  • Planning and delivering engaging primary lessons
  • Assessing pupils and adapting teaching to their needs
  • Establishing consistent classroom routines
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working with teaching assistants and phase colleagues
  • Communicating professionally with parents and carers
  • Participating in training, meetings and school development
  • Meeting all safeguarding and professional expectations
Who Should Apply?
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status by the start date
  • Have successfully completed relevant primary placements
  • Demonstrate sound curriculum knowledge
  • Use feedback positively and reflect on their practice
  • Have clear expectations for behaviour and learning
  • Are organised, reliable and committed to pupils’ progress
  • Can commit to the full duration of the placement
