Choice Teachers are currently working with a secondary school in Harrow who are seeking an enthusiastic and confident PE Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis after the October half term.
The timetable will consist of approximately 75% Physical Education and 25% PSHE
, making this an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher, Physical Education Teacher or Teacher of PE who is also comfortable delivering PSHE lessons.
The position will initially run until at least Christmas
, with the possibility of continuing beyond this depending on the school's requirements.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential for this position.
About the PE Teacher Role- Teach approximately 75% PE and 25% PSHE
- Deliver engaging and practical PE lessons across the secondary age range
- Teach a variety of sports and physical education activities
- Deliver structured PSHE lessons as part of the timetable
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons where required
- Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards physical activity
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
- Maintain a safe and positive environment during practical PE lessons
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the PE department
- Full-time timetable, Monday to Friday
- Have experience teaching
