The RoleAs a Music Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a love for performance, composition, and musical appreciation. You’ll play a key role in shaping the musical culture of the school through engaging lessons and extracurricular opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Music across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level
- Plan and deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons that cater to a range of abilities
- Support students in developing performance and composition skills
- Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities such as ensembles, concerts, and school productions
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and enrichment projects
- Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the wider community
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for music education
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all backgrounds
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
