We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Harrow looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Personal Care SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist support team.
The RoleYou will support secondary-aged students with a range of SEND and complex needs, including:
- 1:1 and small-group SEN support
- Personal care, toileting, hygiene and changing
- Supporting students with learning and communication
- Encouraging independence and social development
- Supporting students with complex and behavioural needs
- Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Experience with personal care is highly desirable
- Patient, caring and compassionate approach
- Confident supporting students with complex needs
- Must hold both Child & Adult DBS
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed to a long-term school role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
