£50,000 £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role
Bolt Technical are hiring for our client , a leading manufacturer supplying global brands in over 100 countries , including applications in motor sport, automotive, and military industries.
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery in our clients manufacturing facilities, supporting production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you will be part of a small, supportive engineering team within a friendly, family-oriented company.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for bottling, filling, capping, labelling, and packaging machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new production equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure high-quality output and compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of spare parts.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all engineering activities.
Provide training and guidance to operators and colleagues on equipment use and maintenance.
Support continuous improvement projects and operational enhancements.
What Theyre Looking For
A degree, HNC, HND in a Mechanical or Electrical Discipline
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills , ideally with PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron).
Hands-on experience in liquid filling, bottling, or packaging operations .
Familiarity with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities.
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and small-scale project management.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills .
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently when required.
