We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join a national charity tackling homelessness and social exclusion. In this senior role, you’ll take ownership of financial leadership, lead a growing team, and implement systems that make finance faster, smarter, and more effective—all while directly influencing services that improve thousands of lives.

Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, payroll, and transactional finance – take ownership and ensure smooth operations. Represent finance in senior forums – influence decisions at the highest level and demonstrate your strategic value.

What you’ll need:

Full recognised accounting qualification (or near completion). Experience managing month-end and/or year-end processes in a robust control environment. Proven, or ambitious, leadership skills to inspire and develop a team. Confidence influencing senior leaders and trustees. Charity, housing, or public sector experience is a bonus but not essential. Location & working pattern:
