International bank seek a Credit Underwriter to join their Corporate and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending Team

Permanent 5 days office based About the Role

Processing and underwriting of Corporate, Commercial Retail Estate proposals, BTL and personal Loans

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Underwriting of Corporate, CRE, personal, BTL Loans and ensuring successful execution of the transactions being pursued along with related client & introducer relationship management.
Manage the assessment and processing of lending proposals from the business team, and presentation of proposals to Sanctioning Committee.
Operational responsibility for the annual review process for all existing credit portfolio loans to ensure that all borrowing requirements and covenants are being adhered to.
Minimizing of credit risks associated with loan applications in accordance with the Banks operating policies and procedures. Undertake site visits as required.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Knowledge of UK lending environment
Proven experience in underwriting or credit assessment of CRE, Corporate, BTL and personal loan credit proposals
