Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Criminal Litigation Lawyer to join one of our London Local Authority clients on a permanent basis. They are looking for an experienced criminal litigation lawyer to become part of their friendly and collaborative team, handling a varied and engaging caseload. The role ideally requires office attendance twice per week, and the client's preference is for candidates who are able to work full‑time hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Criminal Litigation Lawyer with a local authority background to further develop their skills within a supportive and welcoming team.

• Providing support to the Assistant Principal and Principal Lawyer, including mentoring and guiding junior team members
• Carrying a varied caseload of Criminal Litigation matters
• Attend licensing committees as required
• Conducting court work in the magistrates' court as required

• You must be a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx (ideally with higher rights))
• Able to work on a hybrid basis with ideally two days per week in the office, our client is seeking someone who is able to work full‑time - however part‑time requests will be considered
• You must have experience in criminal litigation from local authority
