Job Description & How to Apply Below

We’re currently partnered with a global pharmaceutical company who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team as they enter an exciting phase of expansion. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing site operations, driving production excellence, and playing a key part in the establishment and scale-up of a brand-new facility.

This position offers far more than day-to-day oversight. In addition to leading established operational workflows, you will play a key role in shaping the future of a new site, driving validation activities, and embedding robust processes that ensure stringent compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.

As Site Manager, you will take full accountability for production activities across two sites. You’ll ensure compliance with UK regulations, oversee daily operations, manage a technical team of 20–30 employees, and play a central role in the project management and validation of a new site.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day‑to‑day radiotracer production and site operations in line with MHRA, Health & Safety, and EA regulations.
  • Maintain production performance across quality, schedule, and budget targets.
  • Oversee inventory, procurement, and logistics for radiotracer products.
  • Ensure equipment readiness and support troubleshooting (cyclotron, synthesis, QC, dispensing).
  • Drive key project activities for the new site, including validation, documentation, and equipment qualification.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the site team while ensuring strong engagement and performance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in radiotracer manufacturing or similar regulated environments.
  • Strong GMP background and experience managing technical teams.
  • Comfortable handling radioactive/hazardous materials.
  • Familiar with validation protocols (URS, DQ, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ).
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational and project‑management skills.
