Overview

Drive members in your own vehicle, from their homes to our Sandringham Campus in Stanmore, and/or return journey. The centre is open Mon-Thurs 10.00 - 3.00

Jewish Care is the largest provider of health and social community based services to the Jewish community through community centre, residential homes, specialist day services for people with dementia and mental health, home care, social work, family carers and community support and information and advice. Our services are delivered to 7000 people through a diverse workforce of 1100 paid staff and 2800 volunteers.

Volunteers are involved in all areas of our business from board games with clients to board room decision making. We value the contribution of our volunteers through personal development programmes, public recognition and thanks. If we don t have any current volunteering opportunities, then please use the JVN website to find suitable opportunities in other charities.

The role descriptions listed here include a range of volunteering activities (e.g., driving, packing challahs, calling on behalf of services, tea parties, dementia support, meal times, social and information roles). Each opportunity will have its own specific tasks and requirements.
