Our client, a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Operations Manager to join their team in the UK. As the QA Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing QA operations, including batch release and maintaining sterile environments. You will also be involved in managing the Quality Management System (QMS) and leading a team of 2 QA associates. This role will involve 3 days in the office with occasional travel for external audits (4-5 audits per year).

• Lead a team of 2 QA associates, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work output
• Manage batch release processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee sterile environments and implement best practices for maintaining quality standards
• Conduct external audits as necessary, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA operations to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes

• 3-4 years of experience in QA Operations
• Qualified Person (QP) experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience with external audits and regulatory compliance
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
