Position: We are looking for people who love to cook

Overview

We are looking for volunteers who love to cook. Join us on Thursdays to help prepare meals for approximately 150 people currently living on the streets of Central London. You will assist with all aspects of meal preparation and ensure the kitchen is left clean, working to food hygiene standards. You will help to pack and label food. Ideally we need a team of 7 to ensure that all food is ready and packed within a few hours.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of meal preparation.
Keep the kitchen clean and maintain food hygiene standards.
Pack and label meals for distribution.
Collaborate as part of a team to prepare approximately 150 meals on Thursdays.

Training

We will provide training relevant to food handling and volunteering processes.

Flexible availability:
Morning, Afternoon, Evening. We offer on-going or one-off volunteering opportunities and can accommodate a standard Thursday shift.
