What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality and effective social work services that cater to individuals with physical disabilities, their carers, and families, in accordance with statutory guidelines.
- Conduct strengths-based assessments and draft person-centred support plans, ensuring they align with the Care Act 2014 and promote the principles of wellbeing.
- Work in line with our supervision policy, receiving guidance according to your experience to amplify your strengths as a social worker.
- Play a pivotal role in safeguarding adults at risk, applying your understanding of the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Policy.
- Engage in the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE), which equips newly qualified social workers for future responsibilities, building competence and confidence with a reduced caseload initially.
- Champion the council’s values, enhancing independence, wellbeing, and choice for individuals through a collaborative approach.
