What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Practitioner to join our Harrow Recovery Service. Via Harrow delivers a full range of clinical and psychosocial interventions across the borough, supporting individuals and their families to improve health, wellbeing, and long‑term recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and deliver assessments, structured interventions and recovery planning
  • Provide harm reduction advice, BBV interventions, overdose prevention and naloxone training
  • Facilitate group and 1:1 psychosocial sessions
  • Support access to education, employment and wider wellbeing activities
  • Work collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate case records and follow safeguarding policies
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience supporting people with substance misuse or other vulnerable groups
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems
  • Understanding of safeguarding, risk management, CQC and GDPR requirements
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete within 1 year)
