Kemper Auto is seeking an Associate Product Manager. As a member of the Product team, you will drive profit and growth by implementing business and pricing strategies for Kemper’s non-standard auto line of business. Provide State Management with detailed analyses to profitably grow personal lines auto insurance products and meet customer needs.

• Ability to work on complex problems or projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Work with team members to research, conduct high-quality analyses, report, and communicate key product performance metrics.
• Research key business data using statistical analysis and data mining to understand historical patterns that can be utilized to improve business performance.
• Identify potential system opportunities or issues during data analysis and collaborate with Business Technology partners as appropriate.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and independently drive for results.
• Execute the development, analysis, maintenance and reporting of performance scorecards.
• Develop scalable and flexible data reporting and analysis solutions to fulfill the team’s needs.
• Document programs, queries, and dashboards for future use; automate useful reports and solutions.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Kemper Auto Product on key data informing management decisions.
• Partner with Product Managers to develop and maintain a prioritized list of analyses.
• Identify opportunities and determine key gaps.

• 3+ years of product analyst experience.
• Insurance experience preferred or required.
• Experience in statistical and business analysis.
• Education equivalent to a college degree in mathematics, statistics, risk management or actuarial or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with database querying.
• Experience with SAS, Tableau, Power
  
  BI or similar tools is desired.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, and SQL Server is desired.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface at all levels of the organization.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule with weekly reporting to Alpharetta, GA;
  Connecticut;
  Chicago;
  Downers Grove, IL;
  Jacksonville, FL; or Birmingham, AL office locations. Remote candidates will be considered case by case.
• The salary range is $95,900 to $159,700. Offers consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location; eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.).
