About the Company: We have partnered with a leading commercial drywall contractor seeking an experienced working Foreman/Superintendent to join our growing team. Our company is committed to delivering exceptional quality and maintaining the highest standards in commercial construction projects.
Position Overview: We're seeking a hands-on Working Foreman/Superintendent who can both lead crews and actively participate in commercial drywall installations while managing project documentation and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and work alongside drywall installation crews on commercial projects
- Manage daily paperwork, including progress reports, timesheets, and safety documentation
- Coordinate with general contractors and other trades
- Ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
- Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance
- Oversee material ordering and inventory management
- Train and mentor crew members
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- 5+ years of commercial drywall experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 30 certification (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in basic construction software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel for projects
- Experience with large-scale commercial projects
- Knowledge of scheduling and project management software
- Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
