Position Summary

Connecticut State Community College offers a broad array of credit and non‑credit workforce development and continuing education programs. The Workforce Development & Continuing Education Aide provides administrative services in support of Workforce Development (non‑credit) programs at the CT State CC Capital campus. The Aide’s main function is to provide information, assistance, and offer exceptional customer service to students, individuals requesting information, instructors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide workforce development and continuing education program information.
  • Manage registration and scheduling.
  • Provide administrative support.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in an appropriately related field or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required competencies.

Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in:

  • Office administration.
  • Registration procedures.

Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills and strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) are expected.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in workforce development and continuing education operations.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Banner student information system.
  • Completion of Student Information System (SIS) training.
Salary

$34,06 hourly.
