Trinity College Community Child Center is seeking a qualified, full‑time Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our dynamic team of Early Childhood Educators. The role involves working alongside two full‑time Teacher Assistants and a Lead Teacher in a classroom with 18 children on the beautiful Trinity College campus. We welcome children from the Trinity community, Hartford, and surrounding towns.

• Schedule:
  
  8‑hour shift with a 45‑minute lunch break (Monday‑Friday)
• Serve as a mandated reporter and fulfill all mandates and obligations outlined by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood and the City of Hartford Department of Children, Families, Youth and Recreation
• Observe and follow all TC4 policies and procedures
• Perform daily site safety checks for the classroom, playground, etc., correct any issues, and notify the Administrative Team of items leyes scheduling education requiring follow‑up
• Carry out best practices developed by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and observe its code of ethical conduct

• At least one year of experience working with children 3‑5 years old in a childcare center
• A current CDA/12 credits in Early Childhood Education or an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education

• Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification
• Administration of emergency medication (Epi Pen)
