Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician

Location: Hartford, CT, USA

Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Schedule: Flexible, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

As an A&P Technician, you will play an essential role in our client's operations by ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of customer aircraft.

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on a variety of corporate aircraft.
• Work directly with clients to help identify and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain compliance with all FAA, company, and OEM standards.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical expertise, hands‑on skills, and communication ability. To succeed, you will:

• Hold a valid and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of corporate aircraft maintenance experience.
• Interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
• Communicate effectively in English
  , both written and verbal, regarding aircraft status and technical details.
• Provide and maintain your own basic set of hand tools, with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control.
• Obtain Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
• Be willing and able to work unscheduled overtime
  , including on nonscheduled workdays and holidays.
• Possess basic PC skills for documentation and reporting.
• Be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge (if applicable).
