Finance Accountant IFRS

Finance Accountant – Hartford, CT

We have a fantastic job opening on the team for a Finance Accountant for the Hartford, CT office with a hybrid work schedule. This is a great opportunity for candidates with direct or internship experience in an accounting, financial reporting or insurance related role.

In this position you will be responsible for quarterly and annual detailed production processes related to IFRS
17. Gather source data, reconciliations, control work, system (IFRS
17 architecture) processing, loads to central solution hubs and output management. In addition, responsible for recaps, management reporting and ongoing maintenance of the IFRS
17 architecture and processes. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, requirements and specification outlines, testing and implementation of new and revised architecture and processes. Maintain accounting production documentation, controls and reconciliations. Ad hoc research, problem solving and process improvement. Provide assistance on special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Direct or internship experience in an accounting, financial reporting or insurance related role
