Description

SNMC is looking to add a full-time Loan Officer Assistant. At least 2 years of experience is preferred, along with Encompass knowledge, high-energy and positive attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Assist loan officers in gathering and reviewing loan application documents.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and provide updates on loan status.
  • Prepare and organize loan files for processing and underwriting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the loan approval process.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to mortgage lending.
Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in a loan processing or administrative role, preferably in the mortgage industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage processing software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing procedures is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
