Sage Group Health Care  Staffing is seeking CT Technologist - Imaging for a 13-week travel /contract position in Hartford, CT. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate:

Range $2800 to $2960 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Radiology, CT Technology

Shift: 8 Hours;
Nights, 11.00p – 07.30a

Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, with EOW rotation.

• Current CT Technologist experience in a fast paced hospital setting: 2 years - Required
• GE Scanner equipment experience:1 year – Required
• Prior travel experience:
  Highly preferred

• Graduate from an Accredited Radiographic Program - Required
• License for State of Connecticut –Required
• BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Performs computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while utilizing the assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Participates in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images.
