IT Asset Management Lead
Location:
Arizona, Connecticut, North Carolina, Texas (USA)
Requisition
Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive IT Asset Management Lead with strong interpersonal and techno‑managerial skills to lead an IT Asset Management team. The candidate will support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices, and will assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration practices, anticipate problems and suggest solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets including hardware, software, and related components.
- Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and processes.
- Track the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
- Procurement and Deployment:
- Collaborate with the procurement team to acquire IT assets that meet organizational needs and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with various departments for the deployment and installation of IT assets.
- Ensure proper configuration and integration of new hardware and software.
- License and Compliance Management:
- Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
- Conduct regular audits of software licenses and IT assets to identify and address compliance issues.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts related to IT assets.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Develop and oversee a schedule for regular maintenance and updates of IT assets.
- Coordinate with IT support teams to ensure timely resolution of asset‑related issues.
- Manage warranty and support contracts for hardware and software assets.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate regular reports on the status, usage, and performance of IT assets.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of asset management processes, procedures, and policies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on asset data analysis.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to any of the hub locations area of Tempe, AZ, Richardson, TX;
Raleigh, NC;
Hartford, CT;
Indianapolis, Providence, RI. This position may require travel in the US. - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
- Applicant should work as per the PST time zone.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Must have experience with Service Now SAM Pro.
- Ability to lead a team, ensuring everyone is on task and responsible for their areas of expertise.
- Work closely with business directors and VPs to facilitate project meetings and action points.
- Hardware & Software Asset management experience.
- Ability to create new mechanisms for reporting standards and metrics analysis across an organization.
- Facilitate regular technical team meetings to address concerns, identify blocking items, and develop strategies to succeed at accomplishing the goals of the team.
- Update and maintain risk, issues, process & policy documentation.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

- Experience with Tanium, Flexera, Systrack and GoTo is a plus.
- Must be well‑organized, able to work independently, and have strong ability to effectively multi‑task and solve problems.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple activities and help other team members to resolve project issues.
- Maintain high customer service levels by effectively working with team members, other internal organizations, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work in the offshore and onshore model.
- Must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment of project deliverable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRICE2 certification is a plus.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
