Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Hartford CT. You will design and execute automated test frameworks to ensure quality across functional, regression, and performance testing.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
QA Automation Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Hammer On Demand.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure application quality.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain version control using Git.
Apply BDD/TDD methodologies with frameworks such as Cucumber or Spec Flow for test automation.
Validate healthcare workflows for compliance with HIPAA standards and ensure domain-specific accuracy.
Troubleshoot automation issues, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with hands-on experience using automation tools like Selenium and Hammer On Demand.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA principles, along with healthcare domain knowledge and familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
