QA Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Hartford CT. You will design and execute automated test frameworks to ensure quality across functional, regression, and performance testing.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Automation Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Hammer On Demand.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure application quality.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain version control using Git.

• Apply BDD/TDD methodologies with frameworks such as Cucumber or Spec Flow for test automation.

• Validate healthcare workflows for compliance with HIPAA standards and ensure domain-specific accuracy.

• Troubleshoot automation issues, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with hands-on experience using automation tools like Selenium and Hammer On Demand.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA principles, along with healthcare domain knowledge and familiarity with HIPAA compliance.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $56.00 per hour
