• Design, develop, and govern scalable data architectures that deliver insights for life science clinical research and commercial programs.
• Lead end‑to‑end technical projects, including data strategy, data modeling, data integration, and data governance across AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Business Leads, Data Scientists, Analysts, IT) to define data requirements and align technology solutions with client objectives.
• Deliver workshops and design sessions, capture use cases, personas, and business processes, and translate them into data architecture blueprints.
• Advise clients on best practices for enterprise data management, security, and performance, and recommend design alternatives for ingestion, processing, and provisioning layers.

• Enterprise data architecture expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Strong background in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for life science data domains.
• Experience implementing data integration best practices and building standardized data pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor cross‑functional technical teams and manage project timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of big data patterns (Lambda, Kappa), data security (on‑prem and in‑cloud), and data platform modernization.
• Adaptable, self‑motivated, and collaborative team player with a passion for innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of full‑time experience in data architecture/engineering with at least 2–4 years of technical team management.
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience developing solutions for life science clinical research and commercial programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi‑task under pressure.
• Proficiency in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and experience leading data platform modernization.

• Building and managing relationships with C‑level stakeholders.
• Client trust, commercial astuteness, and digital fluency.
• Leading and influencing teams with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
• Innovation and strategic application of emerging technologies to solve real‑world challenges.

• Competitive base salary range $125,500 – $230,200.
