Role/Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for various software applications.
• Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Provide expertise in GITHUB for version control and collaboration on test scripts and code.
• Utilize BDD methodologies to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements between stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Ensure adherence to SAFe Agile principles and practices within the testing process.
• Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and testing techniques.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.

· 5+ years of experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and JAVA

· 5+ years of experience with Insurance experience

· Good to have: API and Rest assured

• Qualifications - Possess strong technical skills in GITHUB, BDD, SAFe Agilist, SQL, Cucumber, Jenkins, Java, TestNG, Jira, Selenium, Maven, and PL/SQL.
• Have experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 31st, 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $ 71,100 to 112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
