Salesforce Business Analyst

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  
  10 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Deep Platform Knowledge:
  Expert-level understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices (Security model, Automation strategies, Data limitations).
• Certifications:
  
  Should hold the Salesforce certification plus at least two consultant-level certifications.
• Methodology:
  Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.
• Data Proficiency:
  Strong understanding of data migration, data integration, and tools.

• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Experience with integration middleware concepts.
• Certified Salesforce Application Architect or Business Analyst Certification.
• Industry-specific experience in Healthcare Payer.

• Communication:
  Ability to translate technical jargon into business language for stakeholders and vice versa.
• Leadership:
  Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Conflict Resolution:
  Ability to negotiate with stakeholders when requirements conflict or scope creep occurs.

• Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders and department heads to define business processes and functional requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements for the development team.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Salesforce platform, advising the business on “Out of the Box” features vs. custom development to minimize technical debt.
• Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable solutions across Health Cloud.

• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environment.
• Create detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), process flowcharts, and data models.
• Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, flows, and validation rules to build prototypes or Proof of Concepts (POCs).

• Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including creating test plans, triaging bugs, and obtaining sign-off.
• Drive user adoption through the creation of training materials and leading the sessions.
• Analyze data trends and reports to recommend continuous improvements to the platform.
