Our client is a technology driven engineering company developing advanced rotary engines based on a new thermodynamic cycle. Our team of ~40 engineers and professionals is solving some of the most challenging problems in propulsion today. They’re seeking a skilled and motivated IT Manager / Systems Administrator to become a “one-person IT department” for our fast-paced and innovative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an independent, hands‑on environment and enjoys both strategic IT planning and tactical daily support.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure for a hybrid Windows and Linux environment
- Install, configure, and upgrade servers, routers, switches, access points, and critical software
- Support and troubleshoot desktop, network, and user issues across the organization
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify, procure, and deploy IT assets and services
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, including NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0
- Implement and support security best practices, data protection measures, and backups
