Job Description

Our direct client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site candidate with skills and expertise as described below.

Responsibilities:

Use statistical software (SAS, SQL, R) to manage, clean, and analyze vaccine coverage data, and produce reports.

Write SQL and SAS queries to extract data from client databases or other sources.

Participate with client staff to conduct data quality assurance activities.

Prepare data reports using SAS and R.

Prepare and document data for posting on the client data portal, including using Data Wrapper.

Automate the reporting process by preparing business requirement documents and collaborating with the team to develop automation solutions.

Skills Required/Desired:

Strong programming skills in statistical software such as R, with at least 4 years of experience in R programming, including importing, cleaning, data manipulation, and visualization.
Experience in database management and data analysis using applications like SQL and statistical software such as SAS or R.
Experience working in public health is preferred.
Experience with large-scale data analysis, reporting, and management.
Presentation skills for large audiences such as health departments and public health officials.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
